Adding Mobility to Your Facility

There was a process facility that struggled for years with carrying glycol-fill hoses across the plant to refill instrument impulse lines. Maintenance technicians were used to lugging 100 feet of hose over their shoulders, along with a pump and reservoir.

There had to be a better way. This plant needed a way to safely deliver fluid to multiple locations. So we worked with the customer to create a solution to make their process more efficient and facility safer. Once this rugged, simple solution was offered they started thinking of other areas this mobility would benefit them.

Highly customizable solutions are available to facilitate the transport of hoses, instruments, pumps, gas bottles and more. And if you are a facility that places safety and operational efficiency as a high priority these solutions can help relieve some of your backaches.

Examples of How You Can Implement Mobility

  • Nitrogen purge cart – safe transfer of purge or blanketing gas where and when you need it
  • Steam cart – used to transport and connect steam lines allowing for the transfer of steam or thermal fluids to process or heat components in cold weather
  • Calibration cart – deliver a fixed pressure fluid to keep remote instrumentation calibrated
  • Lab cart – offers convenient supply of span, purge or sample instruments, or able to vent to hood connection
  • Hose reel cart – provides temporary connection and ability transfer needed fluid anywhere in the plant

We don't limit our cart fabrication to these options, there are many ways a cart or hose reel could safely improve a procedure or process.
