API 682 - Plan 62 Quench from External Source

The Plan 62 is typically used in refineries to prevent coking, icing and the creation of solids on the atmospheric side of seal faces. It allows for finer control of quench flow because too much steam degrades the seal faces. The needle valve incorporated into this plan helps wash away particulate.

Our solution drastically reduces the weight, and provides a simple connection to the system.

To convey the steam coming into the area consider our insulated tubing.

Don’t risk unplanned downtime with your current setup. The transition is simple, and we can help customize.
