API 682 - Plan 53B Barrier Fluid Pressurized by Barrier Accumulator

Plan 53B is a dual seal solution with a barrier fluid seal pot pressurized by using a bladder accumulator. It allows for higher pressure than a Plan 53A and its purpose is to:

• Reduce most process emissions
• Eliminate N2 entrainment in the barrier fluid
